I believe that our experiences shape the ways we understand ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. Sometimes, the patterns that once helped us adapt and cope can begin to feel limiting or leave us feeling stuck. Therapy can offer an opportunity to pause, make sense of these patterns, and explore new ways of responding to ourselves and the people around us.
My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I draw from attachment theory, psychodynamic thinking, and body-based perspectives on healing. I am also currently undergoing certification in Somatic Experiencing® (SE™), which has further deepened my understanding of the relationship between the mind, body, and nervous system in the aftermath of stress and trauma.
I don't believe that therapy is about having all the answers. Instead, I see it as a process of developing greater awareness, understanding, and choice. As a therapist, my role is to offer a space that feels safe enough for you to explore difficult experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and move towards the changes that matter to you.
People who work with me often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and non-judgmental. I value authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and recognise that each person's experiences are shaped by their unique histories, relationships, identities, and circumstances. Therapy, therefore, is never a one-size-fits-all process.
